The stolen model was one of the wonderful new 1925 design mount- ed in a beautiful big mahogany case with brown bakelite panel. 14t is the clearest and most powerful of all the neutrodyne types, and so can easily be distinguished from the ordinary radios. Come down to our showroom and we will let you look at a similar set to help you in the hunt. We will give $ cash for information leading to the re- covery of this set. CORWIN AGTOR CG. , The development of the Crack- ing Process by the Standard Oil Company (Indiana) is one of the outstanding achievements in the progress of the petroleum industry. The history of cracking, as a commercial development, is written large in the annals of this organization. It is impossible to calculate the good which—directly or indirectly —has come from the development of this scientific process for increas- ing the world’s supply of gasoline. Without it the great automotive industry, which has influenced to so striking a degree the every-day life. of the people of this country, never could have attained its present gigantic proportions. In1913, American refineries pro- duced about 1,000,000,000 gallons of gasoline, whichconstituted about 12%% of the crude oil run in re- finery stills. In 1923, American refineries preduaed about 7,500,000,000 gal- ions of gasoline, which constituted about 30% of the crude oil run in refinery stills. A substantial part of this increase was made possible by the Cracking Process. The Burton Process, develo in the laboratories of the Stance Oil Company (Indiana), is acknowl- edged to be the first commercial prneres available and, while others ave developed processes to achieve similar results, the greater part of the gasoline made by the Cracking Process comes from Burton stills. While developing the Burton process, for increasing the produc- tion of gasoline from a given quantity of crude oil, is an out- standing service, it is but one of the many services rendered by the Standard Oil Company (Indiana) to keep the supply of gasoline sufficient to meet the demands of the motoring public. .
