Upon arriving at the church the guests were conducted to the ticket office by three little girls, Ione Noggle, Marjorie Ackerman and Frances Dunn, who were dressed to represent Dutch girls. Mrs. Harvey Harris, teacher of the “Harris Hust- lers” class, acted as ticket agent. The passengers were then taken, six in a boat, with Miss Mabel Nathan as captain, the bi leaving port at frequent interval The first country visited was Ire- land, where escalloped potatoes were served. A guide piloted them to Scotland next where oatmeal crack- ers formed the bill of fare, Holland came next with its cheese and crack- ers, Up on arriving in Italy the fam- ed Italian spaghetti was on the menu, Then came Norway, where coffee and fatigman refreshed the traveler for further journeying, China came next] * where rice was served amid burning incense, Japan, with three dainty maidens served tea among a profu- sion of Japanese lanterns and var- ious Japanese decorations. The re- turn voyage was made with a stop at Hawaii where pineapple was en- joyed while listening to Hawaiian . then arriving. in the good old S.
