No matter by what means you receive In this week’s issue of “The Literary Digest,” out today, final returns are them, whether by telephone, by radio, from bulletin boards, from the newspaper given of the greatest non-official Presidential poll ever attempted. For the past seven weeks, people in every State and in every locality have been voting. The poll both in actual number and in percentage of returns has proved to be the lar- gest in history. The final figures show a total larger by more than one-quarter of a million votes than the next largest poll taken by “The Digest” early in the year. No poll ever taken has awakened such widespread interest. Newspapers have re- ported it week by week, and politicians have eagerly watched the figures as pub- lished. The final tabulation shows 2,386,052 ballots. The test of the accuracy of this poll as a reliable gage of public opinion, of course, remains to be seen when the columns, or otherwise, you will surely wish to buy and have at hand this week’s “Digest” for comparison.
