E. Lahr The Overland coupe-sedan car model, out on a hard endurance run, today was still going strong on the Killdeer branch, after battling hard roads and going steadily since it left here at 9:00 o'clock Tuesday morning, according to word received by the Lahr Motor Sales Company today. The car was due in Mandan at 6 this afternoon. W. E. Lahr, who drove the car to Glendive, returned to Bismarck, placing the caf\jin other hands, and was enthusiastic over the perform- ance of the car, which already has proved its ability to endure a hard road test, he said, The motor was not stopped. The car has been traveling close to schedule in the towns alpng the way, and in most towns it is greeted by citizens, who first compare its time of arrival to the schedule and next feel the radiator to see how the car is standing the non-stop grind. r, Lahr turned the car over to Dick R. Statham at Glendive at 11:80 o'clock Tuesday night. He visited towns around Glendive and returned to Glendive at 5:30 a, m. Wednesday. Mr. Lahr drove with him to Terry, Montana, where Mr. Stith took the car to Miles City, which he reached at 9:30 a.m. With Glen Bishop driving, the car left Glendive | and traveled down the Milwaukee rail- road to Scranton, up to New England and Dickinson, thence to Killdeer and now is coming down the Killdeer line. The car is scheduled to end its tour here about noon Saturday. The Lahr Motor Sales Company is offering a $20 prize to the person guessing nearest the actual mileage the car will make, Guesses may be deposited in a box in the Lahr show rooms.
