John V. Williams, retired farmer with a broken pelvic bone. Mr. Williams was bringing a load* of flax to town from out east, Wednes- day, and in coming down the steep hill by the Wicklander farm the neckyoke broke, which let the wagon onto the hecls of the horses, The wagon tongue whipped back and forth, until it ran into the bank at the side of the hill. When this happened, Mr. Williams was thrown fram the wagon in front of the wheels. One of the front wheels struck him across the back as he Monday, Roger Sheldon, a lad about 15 years of age, and a brother of the Sheldon boys north of town, had the misfortune to break ‘his leg when he stepped through a. hole in a hay loft. When he stepped through he fell in such a way that the bone in one of the legs was broken. at the advice of Dr. Gordon, to have an X-ray taken to see just how bad the break was.
