SATURDAY, AUGUST 30, 1924 “HQOEE ocial Quiet Wedding Solemnized On Sunday The marriage of Miss Jessie Wise- man, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George R. Wiseman of Regent, N. D., and Leonard Prince, son of Mr, and Mrs. J. E. Prince of Regent, wos quietly solemnized Sunday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Tracy, Dr. S. F. Halfyard reading the service. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Dahl were the only other witnesses. Mr. Prince has been employed with the Dunham Lumber company, for the past few months, but he and his ‘bride are leaving today for Regent, where they will: make their home on his farm’ near that place. Mrs. Prince, who has attended the Dickin- son Normal school, taught school last year. TO ATTEND COLLEGE OF SURGEONS Dr, and Mrs. L. A. Schipfer, and Dr. M. W. Roan are leaving tomorrow for Winnipeg, where they will spend the week. They are motoring down, and Dr. Schipfer and Dr. Roan will at- tend the meeting on Sept. 2 and %, of the College of Surgeons, composed of those surgeons who Kave risen high in the profession. .Members from North Dakota, Minnesota, Saskatche- wan, and Alberta will attend the ses- sion. CLUB MEETS The BXiiness and Professional Wo- men’s club will begin the winter sea- son with a meeting about the middle of September, Miss Madge Runey thas been appointed chairman of the activities committee for September, and will be assisted by Mrs. Alfred Zuger, Mrs. I., B. Sowles. Miss Doro- thy Blanding, and Miss Ruth Rowley. Two meetings will be held during September. Plans are being formulated for a number of activities for the coming year, but no announcement of their nature will be made until they are more definite. VISIT HERE Mrs. S. A. Fisher of Strasburg, accompanied by her daughters, Misses Bernice and Helen Jager has been in the city for a few days, the guests at the Frank McCormick > home. Mr. and Mrs. Peterson are well and favorably known in the city, and have many friends who will be sorry to see them leave. | Mrs. Rosen Hostess At Informal Party Mrs. Al Rosen was hostess yester- day afternoon to a number of women.
