ccnal “Wilk, be MONDAY, APRIL 21, 1924 Social and Personal Easter Services Well Attended At M. E. Church! Easter services at the McCabe Me- thodist church were attended by the largest congregation in the history of the church for an Easter Sunday. The music was especially appropri- ate and nine people received baptism and a class of 20 w: opted into the church. Professor Kirk presided at the organ during the services for the entire day. A crowded house greeted the mem- bers of the choir in their presenta- tion of the very excellent cantata which required over an hour's time to sing by a chorus of 18 voices. The solo and duct parts of the cantata were especially good and excellent chorus singing was rendered under the direction of Mrs. John A. Larson, Mrs. C. E. Ward was pianist for the evening program assisted by Profes- sor Kirk at the organ. Splendid Exhibit By Art Students A splendid exhibit of paintings are to be seen in the Perry Furniture Company's windows which have be®n completed the past year by pupils of Mrs. J. F. Paul Gross, who have taken up oil, water color and china painting. The collection is very re- markaple, and very excellent results ha The paintings are.cspecially: commendable and copies of some of the master- pieces of art by the world’s master collection of water color painters done in oil are exceptional- ly good.
