Hea- ton at her home, 417 Tenth Street. Mrs, Goddard delighted the members with a reading, “A Big- ser Ballot”. At the close of the mweting, lunch was served by the hostess assisted by Mrs. F. B. Hea- ton. BECOMES PROFESSOR J. E. Kaulfuss, formerly secretary of the North Dakota Good Roads As- sociation and moretrecently with an engineering firm in Chicago, has ac- cepted a position as “associate’ pro- fessor of tehway engineering at the tate College of Pennsylvania, ‘an institution with 4,000. students, His work will be to develop.a graduate hfrhway engineering course, to cén- ceive and undertake highway re- search work, to bring about a close cooperation between the state high- way department and the institution.
