PAGE EIGHT HEART ATTACK 18 FATAL 70 MRS. BEATTY Sterling Woman Dies Sudden- ly While Sitting on Porch Saturday Evening Mrs. Elizabeth K. Beatty of Sterl- ing succumbed to a heart attack Sa urday night at 11:15 o'clock while sitting on the porch at the farm home. Mrs, Beatty was 42 years of Mrs. Beatty, wife of George Beatty, had been shopping in McKenzie Sat- urday. Upon her return home she had prepared the’ e meal and retired for the night when she sud- nly ¢ her husband who was i adjoining room to help her out of doors b use of the closeness of the room, After assisting his wife to the perch Mr, Beatty entered the house « n fa fen Whe he returned to his wife and began to fan her whispered and drew her last breath. Coroner EB. J. Gobel was immediate: ly called to the farm home three und one half miles north of Sterling. Af- ter examination and consultation with the family physician who said that he had been treating the de- ceased for the past ten years for heart attacks the coroner declared the death due to natural causes. Mrs. Beatty whose maiden name heth K. Gelchrist was born Novia Scotia and came with her husband in 1911 t reside in Sterling, where they have been well known farmers for the past twelve years. The deceased is survived by her hus- band and a thirteen year old daugh- ter, Belva Mary, Funeral services will be held from g at the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
