The big rock, upon which the Indians ground their corn, was outstanding spot of interest at the vil- lage site just west of the city. The boys camped on the village with the two ditches twelve miles up the river and had @ great time digging into the mounds for treasury. On the Man- dan village site across the river at Old Fort Lincoln traces were found along the railway cut of the cella¢s useq by the Indians. Flint, Arrow Heads, Punches and pottery were among the relics brought home. Mr. MacLeod’s regular camps being over he will confine his attention to play’ ground activities, watersports swimming and life saving and hikes. A playground bese ball league will be organized for both older and youriger boys. Those who are to prac- tice with the Wm.:Moore crew will meet Monday and Wednesday even- ings.
