Extreme top on matured steers for the week was $8.75, best yearlings going at -8.50, with best load lots largely $7.75 and $8.00. Bulk of fat steers and yearlings cashed from $6.50 to $8.00 at the finish, a few real commpn steers around $6.00. Butcher cows and heifers ranged from $4.00 to $7.50 at the close, bulk of fat heifers $5.00 to $6.25, bulk of * fat cows $4.00 to $5.25, these prices showing losses of around 25¢ for the week.
