A. Hildreth of Fargo, U.S. district attorney for North Dakota, has filed an affidavit of prejudice against District Judge A. T. Cole of Fafgo in thé supreme court. According to the affidavit Mr. Hildreth was acting for himself and other stockholders of ‘the Scandi- navian American, suing former of- ficialg and-®rectors of the defunct institution for $640,000 damages, alleging breach of duty and fezsance in office. In pleading that, the supreme court assign the case to another court than Judge Cole’s, the affi- davit sets forth that the action is not: one caltulated to delay proceed- ings but issin good faith and on the belief that it.would be impossible to secure a fair trial before the Fargo judge. Trial is set for Febru- ary 6 in Cass county district court will take up the greater part of the next four weeks. The first of the group meetings will be~held next week, it wag an- nounced. The members signed up during the drive this week will be called in by groups, for the pur- pose of discussing and developing a program.
