Of 50 different classes of labor, eight drop- ped in wages, and 10 rose, while the rest, numbering 82, remained prac- tically unchanged, the increase in October on the general average amounting to half a sen. Among those whose wages dropped in October were weavers, glass ma- kers, brick layers, shos-makers and tailors.
