D., Nov. 4—Fargo high school had a 65 to 0 hold on the eastern North Dakota _footbail ~ Dopee BrotHers | MOTOR CAR ! championship at the end of the game with Cavalier today, LeFleur starred for the home team, with line bucks and end runs, Cavalier punted fre- quently. The Cavalier boys were greatly outweighed. A steady rain was falling on the Aggic field. The Aggie-University game was on this afternoon. The Aggie forces paraded down Broadway, Fargo’s principal street through the downpour and mist, be- draggled but confident, the rain tak- ing some of the brightness of the le but adding to its pie- turesque appearance, At the station some three hundred dry University rooters had to step into the cold wet world. Both college teams are in the pink of condition and rooters all around are predicting victory this morning. The evenness of performance so often re- marked in Dodge Brothers Motor Cars is due, in no small part, to the thoroughness with which each unit is inspected during the process of manufacture and assembly. A trained staff of 800 experts is employed in this work alone, and approximately 5285 individual inspections are made oneachcar. FOOTBALL RESULTS FRIDAY Moorhead Teachers 6; St. Cloud 0. Dear Voter: I ama candidate for re-election as County Commissioner of the First Commissioner District for Burleigh County and I desired to see you personally but owing to my large farming and other business interests and want of help, it will be impossible to see many of my constituents. My district comprises all of the city of Bismarck south of the township line and within two milles of Menoken.. The rule is that each Commissioner takes care of the roads in his individual district and I have never interfered with the work in another Commissioner’s district. The records will show ‘that I have expended less money for roads and bridges in my district since, acting as Commissioner than has been expended in any other Are you attending school where your education will enable you to enjoy a good income ALL YOUR LIFE? Good board and room in the Stuueny’ Boarding Club at $20 to $25 a month. For particulars § « write, } G. M. LANGUM, President, College Building, BISMARCK, N. DAK. district. The roads in my district are good. The worst roads: in Burleigh County will compare favorably with the streets of Bismarck after leaving the paved streets and are far better than the streets to and around the Capitol Building and the Ferry road after leaving the N. P. crossing, which points are in the city limits. The road from the pavement on Main Street to the Penitentiary, which is in the city limits, was an eyesore and a disgrace for years until taken in charge by myself and put in the condition it is at present. Ne It is true that some roads in the county have not been kept in first class condition owing to the continual dry weather and becauge labor could not be secured. The County Commissioners have desired to give as much : employment on the roads as possible to the individual farmers, and the Board has been limited in the amount that could be expended, the appropriation for 3,300 miles of road being Forty-five Thousand Qollars per year to keep in repair these roads and provide for the making of new roads. | : : UDG HOUUANAAQONOEOEEDAUATAQONOTOUAGGAQOONUEAUOOASHORLOGAOOOSOONEOUEOOOOONEEOHGOGGEOEOUOOOOGANEOUUGGOEGONUGHOOOOOONOUUHS22 O’Connor and Nestos have fought shoulder to shoulder for North Dakota.
