iG PAGE EIGHT ~ BOYSBACK —— FROM ISABEL Another Fine Time Reported! On Camping Trip The Bismarck Boys returned from Camp yesterday afternoon after spending a delightful six days at Lake Isabel. No camper is experienced who has ‘not been through a real down-pour of rain coupled with a wind which threaténs to strip one of his clothes. The weather man did his best in this regard. last week for the boys. A novel and delightful experience to many of the boys was swimming in rough water, and in proportion to size the old: Pacific never rolled higher than did Isabel last Friday. ‘rhe Camp honors were as follows: The tent inspection honors went to Dick Penwarden’s Beavers. E The base ‘bull mellon to Paul Par- son's Cottontails. Cooking and serving honors was equally deserving to all three groups. To Bill Lenhart goes the individ- ual honor for the best list of birds seen at camp and for the star test. Bill will receive a copy of Chap- man’s bird book , “What Bird Is That?” Unfortunately the water mellons which were the prizes in base ball, tent inspection ete. arrived in Daw- son on the hottest day of the year and on this same day were as- sembled in Dawson all the old timers and the young timers from miles around, The good natured fruit vender rather than have his store torn down carved these juicy mel- Ions in exchange for butter, eggs and other farm products. A water mellon picnic will be held some day but we, are not go- iug to say when or where so go right on with your work, folks. St. Mary's boys will meet today to complete arrarigements for camp. (Editor’s Note: How would you like to make $50,000 from an investment of $200? Here is the story of a man, James Hazlitt, 3646 Noble Street, Dallas, Texas, who actually made: such a ‘profit. ‘He tells how to make that much in a very interesting way. In editing this article the name of the compapy with which Mr, Haz- litt made this huge profit was omitted.) BY JAMES HAZLITT. You want to know how -it makes one feel to invest $200 and have $50,000 paid back to you within the year? Well, I guess I can tell you, because I made just such a profit in the good old days of Burkburnett. .-.. I do no claim to be a good judge of oil investments. I can’t go out and look at a piece of property and tell whether it will pro- duce oil or not. I made my investment with fear and trembling. I wasn’t an invest@:. I had always made my money by working for it and sav- ing what I earned. But I determined that if. I. was ever to get any- where, to really accumulate anything worth while, I must invest a small amount on the chance that it- would wif me a fortune. And, as it turned out, that is just exactly what happened. So I put up the $200, along with: alot ‘of other investors, and then sat back and waited for results. The results were not long in coming, To-make a long story short, I received dividends totaling $50,000 within the short space of about six.months. So rapidly did these dividends come that I hardly realized what was happening until I had a cool $50,000 in the bank in hard cash. The money had ac- cumulated so fast that I honestly didn’t appreciate how much I was gettifig from my little $200 investment until the. bank told me one day. “I have a nice home, drive a good car, go anywhere I like any time I want to. In short, that $200 investment has made me abso- lutely independent and I’ll tell the world that’s a fine way to be. _. This is only one of the many thousands, who made ten times $50,000 on small oil investments.” This is going to happen in the Dakotas. . If. we bring a gusher like we are looking for every $200.00 will earn $100,000.00. ~ Burkburnett where the man made his fortune was a Pioneer Oil field.
