In cases where ex- service men are candidates and are opposed by men not so qualified, every effort should be used to pro- mote the interests of the ex-service candidate. “Concerted effort should be made to secure the selection of as many ex-service men as possible as dele- gates to the county conventions in order that the interests of the ex- service men may be carried to. the county and state conventions, and to do anything in any other way that may be possible to carry out the wishes of the service men.as they were ex- pressed by resolution and otherwise at the convention of Aptil 5th. In other words, take such steps as are necessary to protect the service men and their friends who are in office. “The principle message to be car-} tied to the wards will be the definite statement that P. G. Harrington ‘is the avowed candidate of the Burleigh County Ex-service men for the legis- lature. ‘The service men will present their case to both Republicans and Demo-, crats. “The Republican Caucus will’ be hebd at the various polling places as advertised on April 11, 1922 at 7:30 P.
