This is the second piano recital given by her pupils; the first being a program given last Saturday evening by the younger members, and although some are of tender age the performance. of | each pupils is a credit to the teacher, Hl The class seemed full to overflow- ing with the joy. of living and eacn, child found an opoprtunity to express | that joy during the performance of his | part of the program. , | The selections were well chosen The pupils had evidently heen taught to “just say it’ with notes. A large white bell hanging over | the table’ gave the wedding effect. Twenty young friends of the bride and; her finance assembled, each pearing a recipe to add/to the card index of houséhold rules. Following an excellent buffet lunch; servedby hostesses, prophecies were made for future of the honor guests. ‘The prophecies were expressed in every medium known to modern society, strikingly among them being a car- toon, cleverly drawn by Roy Inseth of the Lahr Motor Sales Co., picturing the future most vividly. ‘Another com- pelling picture was given in original verse by Frank Gale of the Maynard Music Co. This was not the effort of an’ amateur, as the clever writer fre- quently contributes to the city papers. A short program of music and song was rendered by Miss Jennie Silseth, | Mr. Gale and Mr, Inseth. BANQUET TO GRADUATES The graduating class of St. Alexius hospital were honor guests of the alumni at a bnaquet at the McKen- zie hotel on Wednesday evening. Miss Mary Lane, Superintendent of Nurses at St. Alexius, closed the pro- gram with an excellent paper on The Aims of the Nursing Profession.
