~ PROGRAM OUT: 7 ~ FOR MEETING 2 ————e ' Farad, May 10.—The program for theannual. convention of the North Dakota Retail Merchants association, to .be held in Fargo; June 7-10, was . @mpounced today by William A. Don- "Welly of Fargo, secretary of the as- sociation. Besides addresses by /men of na- tional reputation and nien. who have made a success of their business life, the program will be marked by spe- cial features each day. Part of the first day’s program, Tuesday, June 7, willbe given over to the celebration of the 28th anniversary of the Fargo fire and the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the city. Tuesday will also be Fargo-Moorhead day and it is expected that the festivities, to be held in Island Park, will be attended by a large crowd. Jobhers Prepared. Thursday, June 9, will be Jobbers and Manufacturers day and 47, job- ‘\pers and manufacturers of Fargo give » assurance that tlie ‘day will be an in-/ v; teresting, instructive and entertain- ing one. The jobbers are planning a surprise for the convention visitors on this day... Ralph W. Brown, chair- man of the Jobbers committee, has| i charge of the arrangements. {Fred P. Mann of Devils Lake, pres- ident of the association, has announc- ed that, the railroads will. give rates of a fare and one-half to Fargo and return from any point in North Da- kota to merchants attending the con vention.—"In this connection it is- an- nounced that, the merchant and his wife attending the convention from the town ‘in the state farthest from Fargo will be given free membership cards for 1921 and 1922.
