The club, which! has 14 members, believes there is plen ty of opportunity for them along the lines on which the club. will work. They especially want to do what they| can to cheer patients from outside the! city, who may not see friends or rela-/ tives frequently. The club delivered | Easter baskets for children in the hos-| pitals. } The officers are Mrs. Jamés Algeo, chairman, and Mrs. William Hanue-' wald, treasurer. Mrs. E. T. Burke will have charge} of gifts of jellies and other delicacies and anyoné wishing to contribute may do so by calling Mrs. Burke, The club will make auilts to obtain| money with which to buy flowers, and|. anyone wishing to purchase -a quilt may notify Mrs. M. CHARITY BALL SUCCRSS The charity ball given by one group of the Daughters of Isabella last aight in Patterson Hall was a marked success, both socially and financially. The hall was lovely in a decoration of cut flowers and potted palms, form- ing a screen for the orchestra on the stage. The frappe’ table, presided over by Mrs. Thomas Rvan and two little misses, Mdry Cayou and Jean-, @tte Carufel, was particularly attrac- tive in floral decoration. An fnformal program of dances be-! gan at 9:30 and, continued until 1:30 The music was excellent and all re- port a most’ enjoyable time. Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Paulson, Mr. and Mrs: J. R. The occasion was in honor of the return home of one of their number, Miss Iacille Lahr.
