The children arrived Tuesday ecven- ing over the North Soo and were in- duced to attend the class day exer- cises at the auditorium and give sev- eral selections, They were accorded an ovation. - One of the players is under six years of age. ‘H. G. Bundy of Velva, a representa- tive of the Velva Commercial club ig with the orchestra which is en route to Dickinson to attend the Grand Lodge of the Odd Fellows. Velva is putting in a strong bid for the Odd Fellows home and its orchestra is one of the features on the program. The orchestra is unique in the musi- cal annals of the state and critics of tLe Capitol City could not praise it high enough last evening, Dr. Aacker has a state wide reputa- tion as a musician and his training of the school children is | marvelous. C, Postlethwaite at the Parsonage. (Mr. Miller is an employe of the Interna- tional Harvester Co., and Miss Bus- well is employed in the department of the Commissioner of Agriculture. Mr. and Mrs. Miller will spend a portion of their honeymoon in the Twin ‘Cities and Minnesota |\ints, after which they will take up their perman- ent residence in this city. ALUMNI URGED TO ATTEND BANQUET Some changes have been made in the pans for the alumni reunion of the Bismarck high school. Harold Semling is making arrangements for the banquet Friday evening which will be held at the Grand ‘Pacific hotel in- stead of the school gymnasium as originally intended. Tickets: willbe on sale at Harris’ and the Chocolate Shop. Members of the alumni and those who graduate this year are urged to attend. Webb Bros. Have Fine. Display for Graduates A very attractive window display in keeping with commencement week is now beng exhibited in one of Webb Brothers large’ Main street windows. The main feature of interest being the photographs: of the members of the graduating class of 1920 of the Bis- marck High School. The class colors cerise and silver, are very effectively used as a color‘scheme. The photo- graphs of the graduates are tastefully arranged in the back ground while in the.foreground the photographs of the ‘High School Faculty are shown. THOMPSON-—-BRADY NUPTIALS Mr. Clarence Louis Thompson and Miss Bertha May Brady were united in matrimony at the Presbyterian ‘Manse, on Sunday morning at nine o'clock by the Rev. H, C. Postleth waite. ‘Mr. Thompson is an employe of the Lahr Motor Sales Co., and Miss} Brady holds a position at the Bis- marck Bank. Miss Florence Thomp- son and Walter L. Thompson, sister and brother. of the groom were the attendants. The young people will go to housekeeping in Bismarck.
