We will give you an idea what we have already done in Shipping by Truck as follows: In the month of February, 1920, we were called on to-haul furniture for a five room cottage by Truck from New Salem, N. D., to Bismarck, and as'the roads were bad ahd snow covered we decided to take the job and test out what could be done with our Truck over such roads and conditions. ‘ We left Bismarck at 7 o’clock A. M., and arrived at New Salem at 10 o’clock A. M., a distance of about 40 nriles, making the return trip with the furniture, including a piano, was made in four hours, having to stop for oil and gas. The total weight of this load was 4,400 lbs. With all the bad road conditions we had to encounter there was only small damage done to the furniture and on careful ex- amination we found a chair back had been punctured. There was no packing or crating done with the furniture and the cost’ was less than cost of crating and shipping by railroad. . Ship by Truck and get your goods there cheaper than the railroads and on faster time and save packing and handling charges. Bad roads are good roads for us. : WACHTER TRANSFER CO. i UT EAAATHUGNODEMAAADAUNODAUALUNGQLUNOUASUUESdRONUUENDAONNDULGDGtGSDGAUOUDSFONUOU Lisa ENEEUNs cUUAENALDCULLERSENOUDE RTA HOLE RISMARCK DAILY TRIBUNE MONDAY, MAY 17, 1920 a a T z PULAU EDGAAGEAEAUNDECEDVGAUOAUGULEGAANADEONOEOOANTANADELGGAGUEOUAAND ACEO Age AURA EN CGunecuNMEOEENELONUELUGUEHNOEORAANUUER UTE | Save Half the Cost and Time You have always regarded the railroads.as the only means to ship your Furniture and Merchandise, but today the Motor Truck takes its place fob long or short hauls. ‘ The Motor Truck in time to come will be the means to develop our great City of Bismarck, surrounding territory an@State.
