J. Rowe, commandant of the soldiers’ home at ‘Lisbon, one of the pioneer physicians and surgeons of the state, suffered an attack of pneumonia at Glenburn, ., last Sunday, and is reported very low. Two of his sons have been summoned to. the bedside. Dr. Rowe, formerly grand master of the I, O. 0..F., went to Glenburn last week to address an Odd Fellows’ meeting. Reports from the bedside as received at the Masonic temple this afternoon, indicated that the doc- tor’s condition was somewhat better and that he had spent a restful night. ‘Dr. Rowe: holds the distinction of having introduced the pfohibition law in (North Dakota.
