DIES AFTER LONG ‘ILLNESS WITHOUT KNOWING FRIENDS Passes Away Here This Morning Without recovering his faculties following a stroke of paralys' month ago, R. E. Ferguson, ret carpenter of New Salem, died here this morning. Mr. Ferguson had been ill.for some and up to the time of his death failed ‘to recognize friends and upon him. The deceased is survived by his widow and several children. He was} born in Maryland 52 years ago and came to this country when a young man.
