Will Erect Three-Story Struc- ture Here Another mark of the growing im- portance of Bismarck ag a distribut- ing center for a prosperous territory is shown in the announcement made today that the John Deere Implement Co., one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of farming machin- ery in the world, will build a three story building costing thousands of dollars on Main and Second street on the present site of the Dakota Motor Co. The final details of the sale of this property was consummate Satur- day. The company that will distribute the Deere products*here will be known ag the Deere-Weber Co. and will cover the entire territory west of the souri river as well as some po east of the river. The property was owned by the Corwin Motor Co. The new company will probably break ground about March 15, 1 a three-story building 50 by in size. It will be the most modern building of its type in the city and will embody the latest features re- quired by the Deere-Weber Co. This will be the second big farm im- plement company to put up a structure in Bismarck using this city for its di tributing center for a large territory. Tho International Harvester already has one of the finest buildings of its kind located in this city and with the completion of the Deere-Weber struc- ture, Bismarck will become probably the most important distributing cen- ter for farming machinery in the state.
