Methodist ministers and lay dele- gates from a number of surrounding towns will meet here tomorrow to discuss the second phase of the for- ward movement launched by this church last year. The objective of the first phase was $1,000,000 for ex, pansion. The principal obpective of the second phase is a million new mem per for the church before June 1, 1920. Dr. C. C. Pettit of Helena, Mont., assistant area secretary, will preside over the sub-district conterence which opens here tomorrow afternoon and will continue until Thursday night. He will be assisted by Rev. Regan of Helena, a specialist in evangelism, and by Rev. C. S. Herman, for nine years a missionary in the jungles of india. While the sessions are prim- arily for the delegates and members of the church, a cordibl invitation is extended the public by Rev. George H. Quigley, pastor of McCabe church, where the meetings will be held. In last year’s movement, the Helena area was the first over the top in amount of money raised and in num- ber of tithers. Dullan, trustee for three years. The installation of the newly elect- ed officers will be held December 15. MONDAY CLUB The Monday club met yesterday afternoon at the home of Mrs. G. F. Dullum and had a very interesting program on Russian characters, life arid novels. The roll-call was on prominent Russians, and Mrs. W. H. Bodenstab read a paper on “Revolu- tionary Days.” A biography of “The Little Grandmother” was given by Mrs, J. C. Anderson. The “Problem of Life in Russian Novels” and a biog- raphy of Nikolai Gogol were given by Mrs. C. C. Wattam and Mrs. H. R. Berndt spoke on Turgeneiv. FLEMING SISTERS TRIO “The Little Princesses of the Navy” are the Fleming Sisters Trio, accord- ing to the gobs who visited New York harbor, or were stationed thereabouts. During the war the Sisters played on every battlesip, Cruiser and gunboat that entered the port. They appear next Thursday evening in a joint re- cital with Miss Amy Ellerman at The Auditorium. MISS SEVERTSON MARRIED Miss June Severtson of this city and Lyle Prescott of Great Falls, Mont., were married last: night at Moore- head, Minn, by Dr. W. J. Hall of the Presbyterian church there. News of the wedding reached this city to- day. Miss Severtson is a member of the Ruby ladies’ orchestra and is one of the most accomplished\ pianists in the city.
