Salute to American and Christian LABOR DAY GOLF TOURNAMENT TO USHER IN ANNUAL. CELEBRATION AT BISMARCK COUNTRY CLUB MONDAY Labor day is to be celebrated with an unusually elaborate program at the Bismarck Country club. Begin- ning in the morniug witn a Labor day golt tournament, for which a special cap is offered, the, day's festivities will close with an informal’dance and reception in the evening, when: every member of the club ig urged and ex: pected to turn out. % oe In the golf tournament the play3 will be for 18 holes. The season’s handicaps will be carried by all play- ers, and the ‘contest is open to every member. An entry fee of 50 cents will be charged, and will begin at, 9 a.m. There will ha -two prizes, one ; for the ‘best net score and one for the best, gross, score, Hurley’s,orchestra has been engag- ed for the dancing in the evening. A tuffet luncheon will be served by Mrs. Pierce, and. the affaly is expected to prove one of the most enjoyable get- together events the club has staged in a long time. On-the second Thursday in Septem- ber the men of the club will tender the ladies a dancing party, and on the first Thursday in October the la- dies will reciprocate. This will be the viosing event of the year at the club- house, and the annual stockholders’ meeting will be held at the same time, when a board of directors and officers | P. for the snsuing year will be elected.
