The wheat acreage of our cus- stomers is abou tthe same as last year and in spite of the grasshoppers and the drouth I think the yield will be about the same as in 1918. “Wheat is now running between nine and ten bushels to the acre, It is lighter in weight than last year’s yield, which is due to the rapidity with which ic ripened this year. Seeding was two weeks later and harvesting was two weeks earlier than in 1918, Seven- eighths. of our wheat is shipped to us i arload lots, and the remainder is ised right around Bismarck. “We handled about 75,000 bushels of wheat last year and we expect to handle the ‘same amount this year. This is turned into more than 1,600 barrels of flour. This does not begin ‘to meet our demand for flour.
