Lyons, Pioneer Member From 26th District, Dies in Oregon P. J. Lyons, a former resident of North Dakota} died in Oregon of heart trouble, according to word received in Fargo by Geo. N. Hogue of Steele, who is spending the day there. Mr. Lyons.was formerly a,member of the North Dakota legislature from Steele and Kidder counties, being in the house that the late Thos. Baker, Jy., of Fargo was speaker. The body is being taken to Min- neapolis for burial. Mr. Lyons was a resident of the state from 1883, until several years ago when he gaye,up business and.re- moved to Oregon, where he purchased a fruit farm. After leaving Steele, and before he went to the coast, he was interested in the manufacture of the “Big Four” tractor, sold by .Emerson-Branting- ham, and he also was interested in the manufacture of another tractor, ‘sold later to an Indiana firm.
