OWEN FARLEY PIONEER, DEAD Resident Who Settled in. Bis- marck in Town’s Infancy Passes at Age of. 90 Owen Farley, 90 years old, a pioneer resident of Bismarck, passed away last. night at St. Alexius hospital, where he had been confined for the past two years. Mr. Farley was a well known character and came here inthe early. days from Minnesota, For many years, he had charge of St. Mary’s cemetery and formerly worked as a section hand. About two years ago he was \struck by a handcar, and suffered ser- ious injuries, Both limbs were brok- en and two ribs fractured. However he recovered sufficiently to be able to get around until the past six months, which he spent in bed. Mr. Farley was born in Ireland. He was unmarried, and had no relatives in this country. It is believed that he is survived by relatives in Ireland. Funeral services will be held on Fri- day morning at 8:15 from St. Mary’s cathedral, and interment will be made in St. Mary's cemetery.
