JUNIOR-SENIOR BANQUET OF: “BISMARCK HOSPITAL TRAINING SCHOOL WAS ENJOYABLE EVENT Wednesday evening the juniors of the Bismarck: hospital training school were ostesses to the seniors, the member# of the faculty of the training school ‘and: Dr. Emma Ackérman at a banquet at the Grand Pacific at 7:30. Covers were laid for 35. The long table was very artistically decorated with streamers of purple and gold, the senior class colors,. andlilacs in pro- fusion were attractively arranged on side tables. A yellow tea rose marked each pface ‘and the place cards were daintily decorated with yellow roses on. which the. names of the guests were ‘printed i purple. “A stimptous turkey dinner. was served, and during the dinner hour victrola music was enjoyed. ~ Following the banquet a program of toasts was given, Miss Nellie Wolver ton? acting as toastmistress. PROVES VERY SUCCESSFUL AFFAIR The Country clud's opening party at the club house last evening proved a very successful affair, .The gale, with its clouds of dust, did not .suc- ceed in keeping anyone away, and the club house..was so inviting in appear- ance and there was such a-genial, air, of hospitality that everyone felt repaid for having braved the elements when they reached the scene of festivities. The attendance was unusually large. The floor at ‘times was almost too crowded for dancing, but everyone was in good hunior and the big crowd was. ,congenial., QO'Connor’s orchestra had an exceptionally snappy program of dance numbers and it was liberal with its encores.
