Frazier, Governor of North Dakota. : In compliance with Section, 147, Compiled, Laws of 1013, J here- vite submit my sfiielal quarterly report forthe quarter ending March 31, -1919, Buowing in detail the bilance to the credit of the various funds, the cash balance in the different State Depositories and the interest: on’ daily: balances credited to the te Treasury and the average dally balance in the State by uch’ depositories during the quarter. Owing to the fact that I took over the State Treasurer’s office at a time when the work of the office was very heavy and the collections large, . the distribution of funds among the depositories has not been. equalized as much as would like for it to have been, but I have, tried to be as fair and Impartial in his manner as it is possible for one to be, While the average balances of some pf the Depositories may appear large, yet the actual’ balandes from day to day Mave not been so, for the reason that the distribution was under way and the clearing of such items always takes more or less time. J have not shown the amount of bonds held by my-office Srom the seposttctios for the deposit of funds, for the reason that, automatically the banks are com. Hng in under the State Guaranty Act and while the ofd bonds are still In force nd effect, under an opinion from the office of the Attorney -General, new bonds are not required upon the expiration ‘of the old ones. A few auch bonds Ihuve already expired and in these cases tlie Beponitariee: are held responsible to he State under the Guaranty Act alone, while in instances where the bortds are still In force and effect, in case of loss, such Joss would: be: pro-rated between he bonding company and State Guaranty Fund, STATEMENT. otal balances in all funds Seeseeeee see ++ $3,053, 702.95 istributed: ‘ ret Ae vault egistered Wari Cefthneate of Deposit, Account Terminal Elevator, ‘urd certinte of Deposit, State Bonding Fund ‘ 1) Sand Due from suspended banks Due from State Depositories FUND Benoral pane dts sylum Bond Sin Bond Interest Fund 39, 08. a Board of Nurse Exal 1, 617. 2 EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS TAX Btate Universit 4 364.24 Agricultural College 219.10 Normal School, Mayville 186.84 Normal School, Valley Ci Normal School, Minot.
