The new method of storing furs in air-tight boxes, vaults or basements is wrong. It spoils the leather in your y furs, becatse of change of iiu- n warm and cold weather, Air-tight boxes are moth-proof, but they are not moth-killers. If there put them aay, there is plenty of air in the box to hatch out the young moth and cause damage to the fur. The new fur-storing method is easy to make money oun but also easy to ruin your fur garments. Cold storage is fine for raw-furs, but bad for newly- tanned furs. Have you ever stopped to think what effect soaking fur garments in gasoline has on the leather? If you haven't, just look at your hands after you have washed them in gasoline. If the gasoline affects the skin on your hands, don’t you think it affects the leather in the fur? The past ten years the fur dyers say: “We will dye your furs at your own risk.” Why should they say this? It is because the people have ruined their furs by storing them in damp places and cleaning them with gaso- line. Tribune Want ‘ads bring results. Phone 176.
