C., April 17.—To study the grain inspection and grad- §ng system in connection with the fed- | eral grain grades, with a view to bringing ubout greater uniformity of inspection between the various mar. kets, a committee cornposed of repre- sentatives of the most important grain country, the national council of farm- era co-operative associations, and of the bureau of markets and the railroad administration will meet in Chicago, April 14. i Chicago, the committee will start on 4 tour of the larger markets east of the Rocky mountains, spending from one to three or four days in each, The members of the committee are Eimer Hutchinson, Arlington, Ind., irinan of the appeals committee of n Dealers National associa- tion; J. In March annouhcement of the projected plan was made by Charles J. Brand, chief of the bureau of markets, Washington, who said: f “The committee will visit the prin- cipal grain markets of the United States east of the Rocky mountains, with a view to ascertaining all the facts possible with reference to grain inspection, in order to assist the bu- reau of markets in bringing about greater uniformity in the application of the official grein standards. “I think the committee will want to consider carefull netors as the following: Physical facilities for inspection, including amount and kind trade and milling organizations of the!
