Washington, July 11.—A success- ful demonstration of a new standard- Azed 5-ton artillery tractor’ recently, designed and completed by the ord- nance department has been made. The’ demonstration was witnessed by French and English army officers, _ Secretary of War Baker and Chief of Staff March. The tests were held in @ ravine outside of the city where the mud was from 12 to 16 inches deep.
