FRAZIER POLLS! 10,000 BETTER THAN 16 YOTE tically Every County Car- ried by League OVER ‘13,000 TO THE GOOD Generally Complete Returns Give Nonpartisans Approxi- mately .50,000 Practically complete’ reports from evéty county in the staté, with official returns from more than 50 per cent of the counties, give Lynn J. ¥ 49,782 votes for governor, as compared with 39,046 votes which he polled two years ago. Steen’s total is shown to be 36,846, as compared with 35,944 cast for the opposition two years ago. Final returns are not expected to add more than 2,000’ to either total. A comparison of the primary vote for the two elections brings oyt many interesting facts. In practically every. county which the league carried two years ago, it is shown. tp be holding its own or to have gained strength. The league vote was heavier and the ovposition vote lighter by more than 300 in Cass County. In Grand Forks the'league gained and the opposition dropped almost 300. These are the two counties in which both the league and the opposition gained almost 600 votes over two years ago, and the re- sult is again very close. Logan coun- ty shows a complete reversal in form, giving the league a big majority which two years ago went to the opposition. McIntosh two years ago gave the op- Position 908 yotes to Frazier’s 113.
