SAXON DIET DEFIES RULER Copenhagen, July 7.—A_ dispatch from Dresden says that the Saxon Diet, which Tuesday warned the gov- ernment of a disappearance of the sentiment of loyalty and also of a coming upheaval unless the govern- ment mends its ways, has now brok- en openly with the government. This action is a consequence of the refusal by the premier of Sax- ony to authorize the Diet committee on constitutional reforms to continue its labors during recess. The Diet refused to give the necessary author- ization to settle fuel problems and it must therefore be reconvoked not later than August.
