D, 1917, an annual election will be held at Will school in the special school district of Bismarck No. 1, county of Burleigh, state of North Dakota, for the purpose of electing the following members of the board of education: Two members to serve for a term of three years for the city of Bis- marek. These bids wer referred to-a committee who will port on same at the next meetin The paving committee returned the petition for extension of car line to Ninth street with notation that it was impossible to get the state to build this line, as they did not have any money for that purpose. The female dog petition was read and referred to Commissioner Bertsch. City side- walk contractor was instructed to re- lay certain walks. An ordinance fix- ing the width of the streets was up for the second reading and was pass- ed. The license ordinance, introduced by Commissioner Bertsch, was read for the second time and passed. Com- missioner Kirk introduced a series of resolutions concerning the new River road. They were passed. The esti- mated cost of this road is $1,262.00.
