May 10.—The | citizens of Hannaford, in a patriotic meeting held last evenign, pledged their support and co-ordination to President Wilson and the govern- ment, Resolutions were adopted endors- ing the economic conservation food advo <i by Secretary Houston; expressing approval of na- tional prohibition as a war measure; approving more stringent laws to pro- tect the morals of the soldier boys, and endorsing Roosevelt's plan to raise an army corps for service in Europe.
