W'LEAN Al of Min Funeral servi for the late Angus McLean, who died in the home of his daughter, Mrs. D, A. Falconer, near the city, were conducted Wednesday fn one of the local funeral parlors, Rev. H. C. Postlethwaite of the Pres- byterian church, of which the deceas- ed was a member, conducted the serv- ices. Mr. McLean was one of the oldest and best known residents of Bur- leigh county, and was a man of high Christian character. He was born in Scotland, February 25, 1826. He came to this country when a young man, locating in Canada. In 1882 he came to Burleigh county and took up a homestead near Stewartsdale. He had been in ill health for a number of years, Hector McLean.and Alexander McLean of ‘Burleigh county are sons. Two other children also survive. In- terment was made in Fairview ceme- tery.
