Al Ruben of Ashley, N. D., was in Carson on Wednesday and made the purchase of land adjoining the town site. While in Carson he visited at the home of Mr. Henry Pochapen. Clifford Ferebee of Halliday, is visit- ing his sister, Mrs. F. E. McDawell. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Stith returned TueSday evening after a wedding trip through the cast. Mr. Stith was mar- ried to Miss Milla O. Forde of Hills- boro, N. D., December 29, and his Car- son friends were glad to welcome thera home. Don Stevenson, sheriff of Grant county, visited in Bismarck Sunday. Mrs. Floyd Helder had the misfor- tune of falling on the ice Tuesday and sprained her ankle, but is now able to attend to household duties, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Filbach have opened a new and first class restau- rant in Carson, W. A. Hart of Regan, N. D., arrived in Carson Thursday night in the inter- est of the new bank which will be con- structed as soon as the weather will permit. The building will be 40x24 and will occupy thé corner opposite the temporary courthouse. Mr. Tavis of Mandan is to be the president and, Mr. Hart the cashier.
