G. Grat- zton who has spent several weeks in with the Twin Cities, returned them. Mr. and Mrs. John F. Ohngren of Seattle, who have been in Rochester on account of the health of Mr. Ohn- gren and who have spent the past month in Bemidji as the guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ohngren, left today for Arizona, having been advised to go there by Mrs. Frank Trafton, who has been suffering with blood poisoning at her home in Mill Park for the past two weeks, is not making as rapid a recovery as her friends wish, she she having been confined to her bed because of her condition again last week. She was reported to be slight- 1y improved this morning. The following Bemidji school teachers returned from the Twin Cities Sunday morning after having attended the M. E. A. meetings there last week: Misses Mary Lowe, Jose- phine Parker, Marie Bloom, Alice Benson, Margaret Conway, Islay Johnson, Ellen Bolger, Dorothy Mzrchant, and Bergit Samuelson. Mr, and Mrs. Raymond Farr did not leave for their new home at Caledonia Friday evening, following the wedding ceremony, as planned, but they spent a couple of days at the fzrm home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs., M. Phibbs at Rockwood. They left on the 11 o’clock train last evening for Caledonia where he is manual training teacher and athletic director. Mrs. D. Mrs. McCleary of Fisher is caring for her daughter, Mrs, R. M. Danjel- son, who has been confined to her _home by illness for the past week. She is reported es improving. HALLOWEEN PARTY Saturday evening Miss Margaret Carson entertzined a few friends at her home 223 Irvine avenue South, at a Halloween party. The rooms and table were appropriately decorated for the evening in black and yellow and Halloween "novelties, and pre- sented a most attractive appearance. Halloween gazmes and stunts were played and refreshments were serv- ed by the hostess. The guests depart- ed at a late hour after a most en- joyable evening.
