Commissioner iSllis offered the fol- lowing resolution and moved its ad- option: Whereas, Dr. E. A. Shannon, Pubilc Health ‘Officer of the City of, Bemidji, Beltrami County, Minnesota, has .rep- resented to the Board of County Com- missioners, that Betty Sulvin, residing at 519 Scott avenue, Nymore .Minne- sota, is and for some time has been aftlicted with tuberculosis of the lungs and that her case is an active bpen one in an infectious stage and that she is residing ‘with' her mother 'and two other chijdren at their home and that she and the children are permitted to: play with other children and be with other children and that said health Offi cer considers that said patient is a very serious menace to her family and others of the school children who may come_in cohitact with her, and that said Health Officer reports that he be- lieves the patient is without ample means with which to defray the neces- sary expenses for maintaining her at a Public Sanatorium for pulmonary tu- berculosis patients and that he will, subject to the approvar of the Board remove said patient to the Lake Julia Sanatorium, there to remain until dis- charged by the Superintendent, Now, Therefore, be it resoived by the Board ' of County Commissioners that it does hereby grant its approval for the removal of sald patient by sald Health Officer to said Sanatorium there to remain until discharged by the Superintendent of said institu- tion, vty Resolution was seconded by Lennon and duly carried.
