The day of prayer for missions was wbserved by a special"hour of prayer from 2 to 8 o’clock, gre ding the afternoon g;ogram. 'his‘was led by Mrs. J. M. McGhee, and she had assigned the five different subjects to that many ladies. It proved to be a very' helpful hour. At 8 o'clock the program opened with - a vocal duet by Mrs: A. M. Bagley and Mrs. P. L. Hines, which was very much appreciated. The iesson subject taken from the “Abecedary” lesson book, “What is our Fareign Missionary Society” was in charge of Mrs. Blaine Lambert andMrs, P. E. Welch. This was to have been given by Mrs. M. W. De- puty, who had spent weeks in secur- ing data, and had made wonderful wag not able to be present. Special prayer was offered for her. The so- ciety decided to ask Mrs. Deputy to take charge of the lesson at some fu- ture date. A vocal solo sung very sweetly by Mrs. Lambert completed the program. - TONIGHT .
