Many queer cos- tumes were seen, some fit and some misfit. 'Twas well for the peace of mind of some of the mothers of cer- tain young peopl¢ present that the rag-picker did not happen to call. Also one young man is to be con- gratulated on his adaptness in patch- ing, and one young woman on set- ting the fashion for spring hosiery. Games and contests of strength and wit filled the evening. with cake and coffee at midnight. Mrs. John Lushen spent Saturday with Mrs. Allen and Mrs. H. Millis. Mrs. L. V. Harpel was a socfal call- er at Mrs. H. A. Tiara’s Thursday afternoon Jim Heggie was an overnight vis- itor at Jack Heggie’s home Thursday, returning Friday to Bemidji., Mr. and Mrs. L. V. Harpel and son Jule dined with Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Horner Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. L. Sheppard, Master Joy, and Miss Dolly, visited with the Theo. Ritchart family Sunday, and were also callers at the E. L. Horner home Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Hoglin and Migs Leila, dined with the George Greigg family Sunday evening. F. G.
