Everyone reported a very good time, Oscar Larson returned home last week from Ohio, where he has been employed as missionary. Miss Clara Lomen is visiting at the home of Miss Ella Thompson. Miss Lomen is staying there while Miss Thompson’s mother is in North Da- kota. Genora Smerud from Wilton at- tended the dance in Solway Saturday, night. Mrs. Nora Goldberg is vlsmng her sister, Mrs, Floyd Seaver, in Bemidji. Mrs. Violet Marcotte left for her home last week. She has been visit- ing at the home of C. F. Rogers of this town for the last few weeks. ‘Miss . Melland from Pinewood ar- rived here Saturday. She is going to work at ‘the Smith hotel. Miss Hillstrom, the primary teach- er, was ill for a few days last week, but ghe took up her work again Mon- « day. MLs Lowry, one of the teachers from Shevlin, visited Saturday and Sunday with her sister, Miss Bess Lowry, who is one of the teachers of:Solway school. Miss Ellen Rock was a Bemidji visitor Saturday. Miss Elnora Rock returned home from Duluth, where she has been vis- iting her sister, Mrs, Ed. Albrecht. .Messrs. Alvin Dille, Victor Larson and Emery Smerud were Bemidji Visitors Saturday between trains. Many attended and epjoyed the show Friday night. There is to be a show ‘every Friday evening at the school house. Mrs, McCollum is visiting with her sister, Mrs. Dave Powers. Mrs. Mc- Collum arrived here Sunday noon «from Minneapolis.
