The Grand Ovening Sale of the Shevlin Mercantile company held on cess. People from Mallard, Neving, Zerkle attended to taking advantage of the bargins offered. As an added feature to the sale, music was furnished during the two days by Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Tremblay of Bagley. Miss Hanson of Cass Lake had a number of new fall coats and hats, which gave the women the ad- vantage of being able to purchase the same styles as are being shown in the larger shopping centers. Mrs. Sivertson of Clearbrook served roffee and cookies in the basement of the store. Omar coffee and Loose- Wiles cookies were demonstrated. Mr. Sivertson took charge of the grocery department during the two days. Many excellent bargains were of- fered, and all goods not listed at a special price, was lowered ten per cent in price.
