PU‘SHING BUILDING PLANS v W (Capital News Service) *'Washington, Sept. 22.—The" high cost of building materials and labor, and - the -obstacles afforded by poor transportation facilities, which are causing construction work generally to.be held up, has not interfered ap- preciably with bullding projects be- ing carried on thruout the country by fraternal organizations, judging by reports of such activities being re- corded in the daily press and the trade journals. Of interest to Ma- sonic organizations particularly, doubtless will be suggestions of the number and-character of Masonic structures which are now being com- pleted or for which plans are being made. -At Ashland, Ky, a project has just been approved for the building of a $200,000 home, which will house the four lodges of that city. A building committee, representing the four structures in different sections of the country before finally approving the architect’s plans. A temple which will house at once thirty Masonic bodies, and which will be capable of taking care of forty-two, ultimately, is to be built on the east side of Cot- tage Grove Avenue, just south of Six- ty-first street, Chicago. It will cost $760,000, and plans contemplate the Greek doric style. Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Masons are preparing to erect a four-story lodge ; guest, Mrs. M.
