The training is accomplished by ‘short, intensive courses. z Following: demobilization . of = the army many of the soldiers who, pre- vious to enlistment, ~had followed .other pursuits, qualified 'to purchase farms and take up homesteads. They had to be trained, and their wives '\ were likewise inexperienced.
