Future farmers and home dreds will visit University Farm, -makers of Minnesota' by han- March 29, when the annual boys’ and girls’ club week will open.- A-great program is being prepared for them. The ‘old rule that no body or girl who has attended two previous short courses will be allowed to attend this one has been eliminated. Consequently all who are now or. ‘club members are eligible to attend. A conference have been and training school for club leaders ‘Wednesday, March 30 and 31. The boys’ and girls’ short will be/helq Tuesday and course for the Red River valley will be held at. the Northwest: school af Crookston the same week, March' to April 3 inclusive. This course:is not re- stricted to club members, but is gpen to all boys and girls. A similar short course will be conducted at the school at 'NEWS OF THE THEATERS ‘PEGGY HYLARD MAKES HIT IN NEW COMEDY Peggy Hyland’s newest comedy, “Cheating Herself,” will be shown at the Grand theatre tonight only. . 1t tells the story of the daughter of a .millionaire-—a sprightly, mischievous young person—who believes that happiness can be achieved only if one works for a living. Accordingly she undertakes a trick to plunge her family into apparent poverty and force them all to join her in cooking, laundering and scrubbing. She suc- ceeds better than she had intended, for ‘the poverty becomes real rather than apparent—for a time. In one big scene Peggy figures as an ama- teur burglar; crac¢king her father’s safe, in which are stored all his gilt- edged securities.
