New York, Aug. 28.—The will of Andrew Carnegie, filed for probate this afternoon, disposes of an estate between twenty-five and thirty mil- ligna of .dollars. The will leaves the Carnegie real estate and works of art-and household goods to his wife. During his life, Carnegie made to charity gifts aggregating $350,000,- 000, the announcement said today. CASE FINALLY IN COURT. (By United Press.) Fargo, Aug. 28.—H. F. Saunders of Dunseith, N. D., has filed suit against J. Warner, employe in a bank at Hope for $35,000, which, he alleges, is due him for land trans- actions since 1903. The case will be tried in the first district court of the state, Attorney F. X. Kirsh of Fargo representing the plaintiff. BUSH FRUIT TREES ARE SUITABLE TO CLIMATE (By United Press.) Mandan, Aug. 28.—North Dakota orchards—the vain hope of farmers since the days of the first homestead- er on Dakota territory—is at last a reality. G. A. Mac Pfaender, horti- culturist at the Great Plains experi- mental station near here, has devel- oped bush fruit trees which are said to be particularly suited to this cli- mate. His orchard includes plums, cherries and apples. NORTH DAKOTA SOLONS + TO DISCUSS SUFFRAGE Fargo, Aug. 28.—The North Da- kota legislature will be called in spe- cial session about October 1, State Senator J. L. Cahill, predicted today. Cahill is a prominent member of the Nonpartisan league and his forecast may be taken as authoritative. Women suffrage will be the princi- pal legislation taken up by the spe- cial legislature according to present indications. Governor Frazier was quoted by suffragists as declaring he would call an extra session to permit action to be taken. Later he denied he had made this pledge.
